Taiwan is honestly a cyclist's paradise. The infrastructure there is next level—they literally have a dedicated Cycling Route 1 (Huan-Dao) that takes you around the entire island, complete with clear signs and 7-Elevens or FamilyMarts every few kilometers to refuel and rest.
The east coast (especially around Hualien and Taitung) has some of the most breathtaking coastline views you'll ever see, though the terrain can get pretty brutal if you hit the mountains. Anyone who pulls off the full 1,000km loop definitely earns some massive respect. It's a bucket-list trip for a reason!
