[TD="class: msgtxt"]In the 50's, 60's and 70's we do have cyclists on the road. But, they used it to travel from one point to another. They cycled cautiously by keeping to the side of the left lane of the road. They were mindful to avoid causing inconvenience to other road users.

But, today the Ang Mo is turning our public roads into their only cycling circuit, cycling tracks. Its F1 for Ang Mo cyclists. What if our local motor cyclists and motorists also turned our public road into F1 tracks. Would local be given the same treatments as those granted to Ang Mo?

It is almost daily now (not just weekends) that you see the Ang Mo cycling in pairs abreast or in groups hogging one complete lane and force public buses and other heavy vehicles into the middle lanes and turn our already chaotic traffic situation to hell...

Hope some urgent measures are taken before tragedy takes place...[/TD]

all these ang mos plus our local angmokias also join in.you see the whole battalion of them hoarding the road esp during the weekends. you knock them.you are dead. so i also hope the relevant authorities will do something before anybody get killed - already many kena killed.
and one more thing: many FTs, esp the PRCs are using the pedestrain lanes as their cycling paths...and they don't follow rules on the road. they can come head on against you.they can do anything and go any direction.
you knock any of them, you are a dead duck.
so where do we singaporeans stand today...cross-roads or cross-swords!!!
