In the 50's, 60's and 70's we do have cyclists on the road. But, they used it to travel from one point to another. They cycled cautiously by keeping to the side of the left lane of the road. They were mindful to avoid causing inconvenience to other road users.
But, today the Ang Mo is turning our public roads into their only cycling circuit, cycling tracks. Its F1 for Ang Mo cyclists. What if our local motor cyclists and motorists also turned our public road into F1 tracks. Would local be given the same treatments as those granted to Ang Mo?
It is almost daily now (not just weekends) that you see the Ang Mo cycling in pairs abreast or in groups hogging one complete lane and force public buses and other heavy vehicles into the middle lanes and turn our already chaotic traffic situation to hell...
Hope some urgent measures are taken before tragedy takes place...
