I fully agree with you. In those days, only 1 general and he is called the Chief of General Staff (CGS). The rest assisting him are at most colonels. Nowadays to accomodate all these scholars, more positions and grander titles are bestowed and of course more and more are promoted to generals! Knn all jiakliaobees no combat experience and all party faithfuls. Sponging the state system and all come with a high price tag!

$68 million per scholar ...200 in admin service ...100 in MINDEF ....100 in legal service, SPF, CDF ...that's 400. Cost to taxpayers $27.2 billlion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
