Don't forget to visit New Bahru nearby, formerly the Nan Chiau High School. Now has atas cafes, restaurants, a place where hipsters gather to meet and sometimes sell their stuff.
Kim Yam Rd has also been turned into a one-direction road. You can only go downhill from River Valley Rd to Mohd Sultan Rd.
