barring any last minute comeback by the kiwis, the americans are smoking hot into the last leg.... and that coming back from 1-8 to win the race finally at 9-8!

most impossible comeback by the oracle team, and i continue to shake my head. they just won 8 races in a row. i feel so sorry and bad for the kiwi emirates team, but i also feel proud of them. they had every opportunity to win the last week but for some miraculous reason the u.s. team didn't give up. i was watching on a boat in the bay for the 1st 2 races, and the kiwis were smoking fast and great at tactics. and they were kicking ass for the next series of races until they were up 8-1. the u.s. team also suffered a 2 race penalty before the races for putting weights 1.5 feet away from the legit spot. miracle comeback. live from sf.
