Suppose I am a cabinet minister or deputy minister of a ministry.
Some foreign companies visit my country and decide that they would like to set up companies or hotel chains here.
I am a civil servant and it is obvious I cannot enter into private business. So I get my wife, my wife's relatives or my daughter or son-in-law to set up joint ventures with these foreign companies. If these companies become listed on the stock exchange, my wife or daughter will benefit from the enormous profits by selling their shares.
My question is: am I considered CORRUPT?
