No human is immortal including the ancient relic.
To just grant PAP a victory at Tanjong Pagar in default of a good contest, it will be a significant waste .
The GE after the next GE will be another 7 years, we may not see the highfalutin relic at rally no more.
It would be a wish fulfilled to let people know the percentage of the PAP's win at Tanjong pagar GRC supposingly they win.
The man in charge would also be happy to know where does he stand
after 50 years, he would rest in peace.
No alternative parties have ever tried contesting at the ward, lets hope the next GE is watershed to see this ward being contested professionally !
MIW at Marine Parade GRC is another bane, a contest here would also be elated !
