From this thread I can see, there are still many PAP supporters around,,,from the postings since WP won Aljunied, they have did many things for the constituency, Mid autumn festival, deepavali, Xmas etc,,,now PAP organise 1 new year party, got PAPPY Dogs say where is WP??? Is this how low the PAP has stoop too?

For the people who live in Aljunied, has things been better since WP won? Do u get more support from yr MPs etc? And when PAP held Aljunied, what did the likes of Georgy Yeo etc did for its Aljunied constituents,,,?? Can Aljunied residents please share?

WP copycat PAP now. Also collect money to celebrate = $40. A poor resident living in Aljunid can use that for basic subsisitence for half a month!

Why I thought WP wants to nationalise the MRT and bus services to provide free and better service, and free education and free medical services. WP's celebrations should also be free! Afterall, each of them had a windfall of least $16,000 a month for making some noises at their election rally.

I'm anti-PAP myself but I have to agree with mayo539. Hypocrisy is a common feature of the left. The only reason why I voted for the opposition is because the enemy of my enemy is my friend, not because I'm a left-wing bleeding heart liberal who's naive enough to believe that there's such a thing as "free" in this world.

U PAP IB are dumb beyond words. Do u know that you're shooting your PAP masters in the foot? By your dumb reasoning, PAP ministers with their multi-million dollar salaries and bonuses must pay for all the expenses and expenditures of all charitable organisations and NGOs in Singapore.
