This plea for forgiveness comes from Leong Hai, who says he will change for his sweetheart.

He emailed STOMP and said:

"I seek forgiveness from my dear; we would have been together for two years and nine months next Monday.

"You are my sunshine and without you my day is dark… all night I have been thinking and I never want to hurt you and never ever want to lose you.

"I may have already lost your trust but please give me another chance to earn that trust back.

"I swear never to lay my hands or vent my anger on you.

"Please give me this chance to amend my mistake. .. I love you wholeheartedly. Without you ... life is meaningless."
