A faction calling itself “The Islamic Resistance in Syria – Saraya Al-Thabat” has claimed it has begun carrying out military operations targeting positions of US forces in Syria and sites within Israel.
In a statement issued yesterday, the group said these operations come in response to what it described as “ongoing attacks” against Syria and the region. It added that these actions mark the beginning of a series of military operations that will continue at an escalating pace, with the aim of “liberating the land and deterring the aggressor,” without specifying the date of these operations.
In another statement released today, the faction said that, in response to the continued attacks and violations of national sovereignty and within what it described as its legitimate right to self-defence, it had targeted enemy sites, according to its description, using a loitering munition that accurately struck its target, according to the statement….
