[h=1]A MESSAGE TO ALL PRO-PAP VOTERS[/h]
Post date:
25 Jan 2015 - 10:27am

Hello, all pro-PAP voters,

PM Lee says that his future successor may not already be in the current Cabinet. In one stroke, he gentlemanly undermines yes-men Teo Chee Hean, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Heng Swee Keat, Chan Chun Seng, Tan Chuan Jin, and Lawrence Wong in the running for the premiership.

Deadly Serious Fight

Private polls done for him may have convinced him that the PAP will lose its mandate to govern SG as none of the six candidates mentioned above can inspire confidence to move SG forward. Perhaps that is the fear why the PM is sounding the alarm that the coming GE is a deadly serious fight.

It is a crisis of devastating proportions. PM Lee is enlarging the field in his search for the right successor. Existing pretenders to the throne must now relinquish their mandate to pretend. New citizens and PRs will replace key grassroots leaders for GE2015.

No Opposition Threat?
PM Lee makes a second startling remark: “If you ask the opposition parties – whether it is the Workers’ Party or the Singapore Democratic Party – nobody says ‘Vote for me, I will form the Govt, I will be the prime minister, I will run this place better’.” It is neither WP nor SDP that is threatening his mandate. Indeed, he ‘looks no up 看不起’ the other opposition parties. He can’t be serious with deposit-losing RP even with its grouping with SDP which is resurrecting since GE2011, or the maverick SPP to upset the PAP. Nor is the new if independent SDA of any substantive threat.

PM Lee makes a third startling remark: “Vote for the best person who can represent you.” Though the NSP, which fielded the largest number of candidates in GE2011, is still fundamentally weak (except for a few good candidates among them) even if the popular lady Nicole Seah turned actress is no longer with them. But NSP will otherwise provide good GRC teammates, if not ministerial then grassroots MPs, if spread over the SFP Coalition Umbrella.

But dear pro-PAP voters, then why should PM Lee raise the alarm of a possible change of government in the coming GE? Indeed, why is the SFP missing from his mouth?

SFP the One
Perhaps to some misinformed PAP members, the SFP is new with not much of a vintage value to boast about even though it has in its founding

members more professional and former establishment/public sector no yes-man high flyers equipped with a comprehensive and integrated social and economic restructuring program needed for good governance than the ragtag PAP of GE1959 more than 56 years ago. And unlike the WP or the SDP, the SFP wants a regime change in the coming GE2015.

Fellow pro-PAP voters, I will suggest why PM Lee avoids mentioning the SFP:

- SFP is fully vindicated against the PWP amid anti-immigration backlashes in Europe;
- SG PMEs having lost to foreign PMEs in the job market will vote en masse for SFP;
- New citizens will vote SFP which will not sideline them like the PAP with politicized immigration policy;
- Civil servants angry with ex-army generals taking over their top jobs will ditch the PAP;
- PAP does not have any economic restructuring program to match the SFP for SG sustainability;
- Unlike SFP, PAP has difficulty recruiting candidates with unwavering political convictions;
- Tommy Koh, Lim CY, Ngiam TD, Yeo LK are in tune with TJS on SG Gini-coefficient plight;
- LKY did not veto TJS PE2011 bid so PM Lee can spar with a worthy political fight in TJS.

PM Lee could be deadly serious right if this is what Ngiam TD has told LKY how not to degenerate little-dot SG into a PAP dictatorship – scholar elites appointing new scholar elites leaving the opposition with nothing! TJS may just roam home to a majority rule like the inspirational Narendra Modi of India so that PAP can have a well-deserved sabbatical leave in the political wilderness for one to two terms before returning to re-govern SG, just like the KMT in Taiwan?

Advice to SFP
SFP should not insist on a formal opposition coalition going into GE2015 even if some of the opposition parties are not in favor of it. A loose opposition alliance can be accommodative for all. When GE2015 results are known, form a minority Govt of Opposition Coalition parties. Alternatively, form a coalition of convenience for a minority PAP-led government to checkmate American Exceptionalism. But please fill a sizable number of candidates to contest the GE and form a majority government just in case either option is rejected by the PAP or the WP.

Either a PAP-led or a WP-led Coalition Government with SFP is a regime change and a victory for SG sovereignty with SFP presiding over the social and economic restructuring program for SG continuity and sustainability.

Abang dan Adek

Dear pro-PAP voters especially employees of the public sector and state enterprises, it is safe and Ok to vote SFP. SFP members are mostly from the public sector and are your estranged siblings (abang dan adek in Malay). In their 18 January 2015 walkabouts in Tampines GRC, the PAP MPs with the help of the Straits Times headlining the next day are even now using the SFP party’s name ‘Singaporeans first” and championing it (ironically if not deliberately on behalf of SingFirst) in their propaganda message of wooing the residents.

I suppose the PAP may be thinking of forming a Coalition Government with the SFP to save our national sovereignty; or, unable to ditch its LKY time-tested but now backsliding policies, the PAP may now adopt wholesale the SFP social and economic policies as its fallback for SG sustainability; or both. The PAP has not only run out of policy ideas but also words or slogans to piggyback the SFP in the coming GE2015.

Best wishes for Singaporeans.
