My pass-time as a free man is walking the streets of Singapore, going to Shopping Centres and striking conversation with sales people. I am a window shopper and cannot affort to purchase any thing beside rice, sugar, coffee, kichap, kangkong and salt.
My friendly attitude enables me to strike up a conversation with anyone from anywhere.
Recently, I met this salesgirl (a foreigner) who speaks in English that I could comprehend, although certain words were still unintelligible.
She told me Singaporeans are a boring, lazy and good-for-nothing lot.
She said she preferred the Bangla cleaners much more "for they truly have a heart"
She also said that Singapore is a "Bery Smelly" country and the locals are dirty and rude.
I told her that she may be mistaken as the people that she refers to maybe foreigners in our midst.
She replied that she cannot tell the difference between locals and foreigners in our midst.
However she say she does know the difference between local Singaporeans and herself.
