Crowded and getting more crowded
Not safe to cycle around without risk of someone knocking you over
China FT in your class taking away your scholarship (and later emigrating to the USA)
SMRT frequent and more frequent breakdowns
PAP encourage you to become hawker
Arse doctor in elections trying to play last-time-I-also-eat-the-biscuit game
COEs through the roof

When are we headed (anywhere) towards a Swiss standard of living??

In fact during the kampung days, Singapore seemed more like Switzerland!

I don't think children today are happier than our times. The stress in school is enough to kill them. More and more child suicides in recent years. More and more people taking Prozac.

Maybe they meant scheiße or Scheisse standard of living. :D

Noun
Scheiße f (genitive Scheiße, no plural)
(vulgar) feces, shit
Wo ich hintrete nur Scheiße!

(vulgar, figuratively) something worthless, shit
Das ist doch alles Scheiße!

[edit]Synonyms
(feces): Exkrement, Kacke, Kot, Stuhl, Scheiß

Switzerland is expensive, Austria is nicer and cheaper, even cheaper is Czech republic and it is also nice.

I pity anyone who has to no choice but send their kids to sg schools.

Bros, if you can afford it, pls send your ds and dd overseas to study.

Its better for them.
