SINGAPORE: Singapore reported 91 new COVID-19 cases as of noon on Monday (Aug 17), including six imported infections, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).
This brings the country's total to 55,838.
None of the new cases were reported to be in the community, said MOH.

The six imported cases were all placed on stay-home notices when they arrived in Singapore.
The remainder of the new cases are work permit holders currently under quarantine.
 
Zero case in community but
DPM said can only open up gradually, he referred to other countries open up too soon and there are a surge in cases.
KNS, we must wait for other countries to open up and nothing happens then we can open, tell me when?
 
We are still not able to move freely because of PAP inept. Still cannot reach zero case because of foreign workers dormitory situation which was overlooked by MOM for years.
