90% of employers not happy with National Wage Council - What do you think?

A survey conducted last month by the Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI) showed that most employers here are dissatisfied with the way the NWC functions even though they agreed with its latest guidelines: When asked if the NWC needs a makeover, just one in 10 employers here believes the status quo should remain while an overwhelming majority of the rest felt that improvements are in order. Almost three quarters of the 167 companies polled said more industry sectors should be represented and guidelines should be tailored for each sector. Two thirds said the NWC should "get feedback from industry associations and focus groups more pro-actively".

Not happy never mind.
Just up all the levy regardless WP/S-pass/EP to $1k/month. No need to propose min wage just up levy the wage for SG citizen will automatic up.
Let the employer choose.
Pay the levy $1k/month or hire local is cheaper.
Now there is loop hole S-pass pay lower levy and EP pay not levy at all.
I will choose EP because no need to pay levy and CPF. No pregnant leave, no NS, no childcare leave..................nothing just pay very less benefit pay by company.
