Desmond is handling this incident extremely well. The whole MRT technical team has been mobilised, SMRT has been forthright and timely in its updates and the problem is well on its way to being resolved.

He deserves a commendation and a bonus for his good work.

De problems started years ago...cutting cost on maintenance for good looking p&l sheet. De system wasn't design for such high passenger load yet we are pushing it to de max.

Reason of breakdown is becoz of 1 faulty train...1 faulty train can stalled both ns and ew line...abit hard to believe leh...
