How can it be possible for the blood to seep through concrete ceiling even if the floor upstairs is un-tiled? Hard to believe!
RIP man!

concrete is porous. if air is trapped in it, it can be used as a pontoon bridge simply by floating it in water.
What"s the thickness of HDB concrete floor ..6 inches? You probably need lots of blood to seep thru.... Lol :D unless of course the concrete was not properly mix and hence the porousness...:D

even if concrete slabs are 69 inches, water will seep through. it acts like a sponge when it rains or when there's water. blood and bodily fluids have higher viscosity than water thus they seep through more slowly. otherwise 69% of the unfortunate ah pek would have ended in the container in little time.
