Immigration and Checkpoints Authority officers found bundles wrapped with black masking tape hidden in the car's front fenders.
The seized bundles contained heroin and cannabis. The drugs have a potential street value of more than S$127,000.
The Central Narcotics Bureau then launched a follow-up operation to catch other drug offenders suspected to be involved in the same case.

Another three Singaporean men aged between 27 and 38 were arrested in Tampines an hour later.
