SINGAPORE - The authorities are taking a more consultative approach in managing free-roaming chickens at Sin Ming Court, after people cried "fowl" over the covert culling of chickens there in 2017.

In recent months, some residents have had their feathers ruffled by roosters crowing at all times of the day, occasionally as late - or early - as 2am.

i lived there 6 mths, it was quite pleasant seeing them cheekons going about their business, until a few of them became walking alarm clocks at 5am
imho, they should deport them to geylang to entertain the human cheekons when business is slow, let them live

Got free kampong chicken. Don't think anyone will complain if one or two disappears. But I doubt the new generation knows how to kill and skin a live chicken to cook.

Not say i superstitious but very uncanny how Sinkies love 69, 6.9 etc.

As I've said before, Sinkieland's public sector needs to be trimmed by around 80%, otherwise standards and efficiency will continue to decline due to bloat.
