6 arrested for trespassing on Shaw Towers rooftop

SINGAPORE - Six men, aged between 17 and 21, were arrested on Friday, Jan 30 for trespassing on the rooftop of Shaw Towers.
According to a press statement, police received a call at 7.53pm, and arrested the six following investigations that found tampering marks on the secured door leading to the roof of the building.
Investigations are ongoing. If found guilty, the six can be convicted for the offence of Criminal Trespass on Property, and may be jailed for up to three months or fined up to $1,500, or both.
The police advise members of the public against trespassing into private premises, especially restricted places such as building rooftops, as it can pose a danger to themselves and others.
