SINGAPORE - Police have arrested 4 women, aged 27 to 33, for suspected involvement in vice-related activities from a shop offering facial services as a front. Two other men were also arrested at the premises - one of them for being the owner and the other for his possession of obscene material.

Through extensive enquiries and follow-up investigations, on May 4, 2013, officers from Ang Mo Kio Police Division mounted an operation and raided a shop located along Upper Serangoon Road, resulting in the arrests. Preliminarily investigations revealed that illicit activities were advertised in the newspapers and online forums where potential customers could book its services. Transaction records and cash amounting to $1,455 were seized as case exhibits during the raid.

Investigations against all subjects are ongoing.
