Masonry and carpentry jobs have been low paying professions in Singapore since I was a kid. Many parents push their childen to do well in school and have high academic goals for them so they end up with better paying jobs. This has produced a whole nation of architects, doctors, engineers, IT specialists, bankers, and other bookworm technocrats. You will not find a young Singaporean bricklayer, cement-mixer among them. It's not going to change overnight.

If they don't artificially boost GDP how to get 3-6month bonus end of this year
especially those earning multi-million dollar salary!!

Not everyone is a doctor or engineer!! We do have a lot of unemployed locals ... and a lot of FT. However because of low salary and skill mismatch we cannot fill those positions. This is due to the crap govt policies over the years letting companies have access to cheap FTs.
