SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 51-year-old man who is believed to be responsible for a series of theft from vehicles.

He operated in an area which stretched from Haig Road to Little India.

Cashcards were among the items stolen; one was recovered from the suspect.

Police said the suspect was also unable to account for more than 100 unauthorised cashchard refunds.

He will be charged in Court on Friday.

If convicted he could be jailed for up to three years and fined.
