SINGAPORE: A 44-year-old man is on trial in the High Court for allegedly performing a sexual act on the young son of a good friend.
Peter Lee Chee Soon is accused of committing the crime on the boy when he was four years old.
When cross-examined by Deputy Public Prosecutor Isaac Tan, the boy who is now eight years old, told the court via video link that Lee performed the alleged act on him in Lee's flat in 2005.
The primary three boy also used two anatomically-correct dolls to demonstrate to the court the sexual act that Lee had allegedly performed on him.
And when questioned by Lee's lawyer, Wee Pan Lee, the boy testified that nobody had taught him what he should say in court.
He also said that he had never seen the two dolls before he was cross-examined on Monday.
Other than this alleged offence, Lee also faces five other charges which have been stood down for now.
DPP Shahla Iqbal told Justice Kan Ting Chiu that Lee is alleged to have used criminal force to outrage the modesty of the boy's elder sister sometime between 1997 and 1998.
She was about six years old at the time.
It's believed that Lee had also committed a similar act of crime on the boy's aunt sometime between 1994 and 1995 when she was below six years old.
The plump and bespectacled man is also accused of being in possession of 65 obscene films in 2007.
Lee is now out on bail of S$80,000.
The hearing continues on Tuesday. - CNA/vm
