A 44-YEAR-OLD man went on trial in the High Court yesterday for allegedly performing oral sex on a four-year-old boy.

The alleged offence was said to have taken place in 2005 in the man’s flat.

The man, a friend of the boy’s father, cannot be named in order to protect the child’s identity.

The man has been accused of other sexual offences against the boy’s older sister and aunt.

If convicted, he could be jailed for up to 10 years or for life, as well as fined.
