4 simple reasons why I left NTU to start my own business

I've told my intern multiple times to quit Uni and start working here as well. Start getting some real work experience. There are multiple people here with no degrees that are doing very well here. Then again I suppose its an Asian mentality to have a degree to work.

No it's the PAP mentality. You can easily find it in civil service: scholars at the top of the food chain, honours grads next, followed degree 'farmers'. Diploma and 'A', 'O' level people are at the bottom.

Some of that mentality trickles into the private sector.
 
well, first you have to understand why it required to make a human go through 16 years of education, then 2 more years in A level, then 4 more years in unis. And now more intern some more, add 2 more years.

This is the hard truth, much better than the crap LKY hard truth. Hear this:

To keep unemployment low.

Heeheehee... yes YES! Quit uni so more FTs can come replace your jobs! Must be those cannot make it sinkies talking big again.
 
Add two more years again for males serving the nation.:rolleyes:
