Names and photos of the four people killed by Iranian strikes in northern Israel overnight have been released, with a resident describing the terror of living without safe shelter.
The four people were killed in the Palestinian-Israeli town of Tamra after a strike hit a residential building, according to Israeli emergency responders. That brings the overnight death toll in Israel to 10, with six others killed in separate strikes in central Israel.
“The villages and cities in Palestinian territories inside Israel pay the price,” a Tamra resident told CNN.
These places “are without shelters … This means that rockets are launched and attempts are made to dismantle them over the heads of our people.”
Many Palestinian-Israeli towns in the country’s north “lack public shelters, protected areas, and shelter facilities in educational institutions,” according to the Association for Civil Rights in Israel.
