STOMPer Ex-punter said his friend had bought lottery tickets with the numbers he saw on the gun carriage during the state funeral of Dr Goh Keng Swee.

Said the STOMPer:

"Yesterday I met a friend at the neighbourhood coffee shop and he showed me some of the 4D lottery tickets he had bought.

"He had betted heavily on the numbers 3255 which he saw on the gun carriage during last Sunday's state funeral.

"The other number 2553 was totally sold out and his proposal to buy was rejected.

"He believes that the number 3255 would bring him luck on 26 May which is the draw date.

"The last time when he bought a lottery ticket with the number of an accident car he won the first prize and he believes that this time round his win would even be bigger.

"This is the mentality of our hardcore punters who seem to see a rainbow in every disaster that has befallen the innocent."
