据四川省地震台网测定，昨日凌晨1时至早上7时，四川省境内共发生5次地震，最大震级为3.2级。地震专家称，5次地震中有3次属于汶川地震余震，而发生在四川富顺、自贡大安区交界的两次地震不属于汶川地震余震，目前地震活动属于正常。
平武青川交界 10秒内震两次
第一次地震是昨日凌晨1时28分，在四川富顺、自贡大安区交界(北纬29.38o，东经104.97o)发生的2.2级地震；凌晨2时57分，在四川平武、青川交界(北纬32.3o，东经 105.0o)发生3.1级地震，不到10秒钟后又发生3.2级地震；半个小时后，即凌晨3时27分，在四川富顺、自贡大安区交界(北纬29.34o，东经104.98o)又发生一次地震，震级为1.7级；凌晨6时51分，在四川广元朝天区、陕西宁强交界(北纬 32.8o，东经105.8o)发生3.0级地震。
有三次地震 属汶川地震余震
地震专家、成都市地震局研究员洪时中接受记者采访时表示，5次地震中有3次均属汶川地震余震，其中发生在四川富顺、自贡大安区交界的两次地震(2.2级和1.7级)不属于汶川地震余震。
“汶川地震余震和普通地震活动在如此短的时间内相继发生，这很正常。”洪时中表示，目前汶川地震余震正在衰减过程中，在这个过程中的地震活动会有正常起伏，可能有一段时间余震稍微集中一点，稍微强一点，过一段时间又特别平静，几个小时内发生两次3级左右的余震属于正常现象。四川富顺、自贡大安区虽不属于汶川地震余震区，但历史上这一带曾发生过数次地震，现在发生一些很小的地震活动也是正常的，且此次发生的两次地震级别很小，完全可以忽略不计。

TAIPEI – A 5.5-magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of Taiwan Sunday, the Seismology Center said, but there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
The quake struck at 0457 GMT about 75 kilometers (45 miles) east of Chengkung, a costal township in the island's southeast Taitung county. Its epicenter was 10 kilometers under the seabed.
Taiwan is regularly hit by earthquakes as the island lies near the junction of two tectonic plates.
In September 1999, a 7.6-magnitude tremor killed around 2,400 people in the deadliest natural disaster in the island's history.

A magnitude 7.1 undersea quake struck Solomon Islands Sunday, but no tsunami alert was issued, Xinhua said.
The quake occured at 8.40 p.m. There was no report yet of damage.
The epicentre of the quake was located 97 km southwest of Kira Kira in the Pacific Ocean, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has urged the authorities to remain alert.
