29-year-old man arrested for suspected outrage of modesty onboard MRT

Police have arrested a 29-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty that happened on board a train.
On Nov 12 at about 6.30pm, it is believed that the man had molested the victim while they were travelling on the East- West bound train.
She immediately alerted MRT staff who then called for the Police and arrested the man.
Investigations are ongoing.
Anyone convicted for the offence of Outrage of Modesty shall be punished with an imprisonment term of up to two years and caning.
