SINGAPORE - The problematic Bukit Panjang LRT system is down again, and operator SMRT Corporation has activated bus bridging while it tries to fix the problem.
The breakdown comes just weeks after an electrical fire brought the line to a halt. Investigations into that incident are believed to be ongoing.
As of 8.02pm Tuesday, SMRT is still finding out what tripped the system in heavy downpour.
