Nearly 27kg of cocaine and 10g of cannabis were seized at Changi Airport on Jul. 29, after Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers discovered the drugs hidden inside stuffed toys packed in the luggage of five women.

The five women arrested are foreign nationals, aged between 21 and 48.

CNB officers arrested them for suspected drug trafficking offences in the transit area of Changi Airport Terminal 4.

The arrest was made following an exchange of intelligence between CNB and the Narcotics Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force (HKNB), CNB said in a press release on Jul. 31.

CNB officers spotted two of the women, aged 21 and 32, exchanging luggage at the transit area.

The officers then proceeded to arrest all five women and conducted a search of their belongings, where they found 26.9kg of cocaine and 10g of cannabis.

Covering director of CNB Sng Chern Hong thanked HKNB for the tip-off, which led to the seizure of the drugs.

"Those who attempt to traffic drugs through Singapore will be stopped and dealt with in accordance with the law," he said.

Investigations into the drug activities of the arrested suspects are ongoing.

An offender found guilty of trafficking or assisting in trafficking more than 30g of cocaine into Singapore may face the death penalty.

27kg/5 = 5.4kg each
Thats very heavy for a soft toy, means will not be able to act blur m
And thats 5.4kg/30g = 180 times of the death penalty.

Conlanfirm death penalty.
Guess the race?

Shaped like these…they are meant to be swallowed and then shit it out but obviously the women chickened out and stuffed in the toy.

Would have been more successful if they shaft it inside their pussies

Death penalty in sg is exempted for below 18yo.

For 18 to 21, sentencing could be done under the Children and young person act,
How many of the 5 were noted as 21?
For those noted just below 21, even by milli secs, there is still a possibility to escape the death sentence.
Their birth date shall becum the deciding factor.

HK side dont want to catch them ask SG side to catch and kill them.

Hang ji ki lan ok ji ki lan KNN till today what era liao still use this kind of ancient barbaric method of hanging drug traffickers as if it deters drug trafficking. If it works, SG won't have any illegal drugs liao.... I am very very against death penalty on drug cases. Simply siao one lor even marijuana also hang... and I see so many fucking moronic Sinkies rooting for the SG garhmen to use this kind of barbaric method (I am pretty sure these are also the same low IQ ones rooting for the PCB garbage zhams back then). How much more siao can this get? KNN ok.....

The Hong Kong Narcotics Bureau gave the S'pore CNB the tip-off; what happened to our intelligence capabilities? Does the CNB have any to begin with?

May be we can use escher's piano wires since they been lying around for a while now.

hard to say. could be in transit, but then how would HK intel know unless informed by other intels. one would assume PRC mainlanders
Yes could be transshipment using sg good name as last embarkation port.
Cocaine or its other forms like crack is not common here. Mostly only the atas angmos play. It’s also not cheap compared to other drugs.
Such a big haul unlikely for local market
