The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminary confirmed 897 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore on April 24 afternoon.

This brings the total number of cases to 12,075.

The vast majority are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.


13 cases are Singaporeans/ Permanent Residents (PRs).

Further updates will be shared in a separate MOH release tonight.

The number of community cases, involving Singaporeans and PRs is also lower than the number reported in the past few days.

If based on past few statistic which papigs like to use i erection ,based on total number of ppl around each day is est 1 k but we fon know how msny they check ,but based on this may hv 50k to 100k of them infected ,this is terrible n based on PR n sg getting lesser doesnt mean don hv ,they may go xlinic n they gave mc to rest st home to take chances that they will be ok lkie self heal.Really hate CB due to sll these are created which xan be avoided.sad

There are at least 350,000 foreigners still pending test result. Unless the numbers of infection go below 100, don't be so happy just yet. 897 cases today is very high compared to other Asean countries.
