2 teenagers arrested for housebreaking and theft

SINGAPORE - Police arrested two male teenagers aged 15 and 17 for their involvement in a case of housebreaking and theft at a Boon Lay public housing estate.
On July 7, 2013, the victim reported to the police that his laptop and cash were stolen from his HDB flat at Boon Lay Drive.
Police conducted enquiries and managed to identify two likely suspects. Their whereabouts were established shortly after.
A laptop computer was recovered in relation to the offence and seized as case exhibits.
The 15-year-old suspect will be charged in Juvenile Court and the 17 year-old suspect in Subordinate Court on July 9, 2013, for the offence of housebreaking and theft by night. If found guilty, they face a jail term of up to 14 years and a fine.
