2 charged with corruption over bribes for rental space

Two people were charged in court on Tuesday with bribing an events manager in return for him to rent commercial space from their firms.
Teo Kah Siong, 36, owner of JR Concept Enterprise, is accused of four charges of corruptly giving a total of $3,900 to Faymond Huang Zhiming, 38, then an events manager with 101 Hair Consultants, in 2008 and 2009 in return for Huang to rent commercial space from JR Concept.
He also allegedly agreed to give a $700 bribe to Huang, then a project/events manager with Lynn Aesthetics, in July 2009 to rent commercial space from JR to Lynn Aesthetics.
In the same court, Seah Sok Hong, 36, a former director of Hemus Pacific, was charged with four counts of corruption.
