18-year-old youth pleads guilty to raping his 15-year-old sister​

KUALA TERENGGANU: An 18-year-old youth pleaded guilty in the Sessions Court today to raping his 15-year-old sister.

He pleaded guilty to two rape charges that were read before Judge Nooriah Osman.

The teenager was charged with raping the victim at a house in Kuala Nerus between 2pm and 3pm last May and again at the same address at 3.30pm on Nov 5.

The accused was charged under Section 376 (3) of the Penal Code and could face imprisonment for a term of up to 30 years' jail with whipping not less than 10 strokes.

Following the guilty plea, the court has fixed remention on Jan 18 for sentencing, pending probation report.

No bail was offered to the accused.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Intan Nor Hilwani Mat Rifin prosecuted while the accused was unrepresented.
