SINGAPORE: A series of Home Team operations in the first 10 days of May saw the arrest of 169 people, and the seizure of drugs worth more than S$57,000.

The anti-crime blitz was conducted by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB).

In one of the operations conducted on May 5, Home Team officers arrested 68 people for drug-related offences, and 14 for immigration offences.

During the operation, which was carried out in areas like Bedok, Chai Chee and Geylang Serai, drugs such as heroin and cannabis were also seized.

Another operation on Thursday involved more than 80 officers who arrested 32 people for their suspected involvement in vice activities and unlawful employment.

The operation lasted six hours.

Over the 10 days, officers seized drugs including 350 grammes of heroin, about 360 illicit drug tablets and Ketamine.

Drug raids the world over are all wayang
Prohibition does nothing to either supply or demand, it only raises th price
But then to be a cop anywhere in the world one must believ they are delusional, can save the world and believe in gahments
That is why police are called filth everywhere. Irvine Welsh even wrote a book of that name
