Peasantpore: Chua Chu Kang GRC Peasants' Representative Zaqy Mohamad said highly paid elite minions and lackeys need to improve their own communication skills, especially in the 'Art of Teflon Speaking' aka Stephen Chow Garbage Talk, so that peasants have little chances of retailating.
He shared his thoughts in a post on Facebook on Friday, in response to the needless outcry on comments by fellow lackey Seng Han Thong in a TV programme, BlogTV.
In the Channel NewsAsia programme telecast on Monday, lackey Seng has said: "I noticed that the PR mentioned that some of the staff, because they are lowly peasants e.g. Mats, Chinks and Neh, they can't converse in Queen's English well enough."
His comment drew ire from dissenting netizens, who perceived it as suggesting as SMRT staff failed to communicate with commuters during the two massive service disruptions last week because of their ethnicity rather than their lower mortal status.
Mr Zaqy said he was personally happy that Malay and Indian SMRT staff were singled out because this give him a chance to score political points by attacking silly Seng.
But he added that he cannot understand why peasants are upset because he feels the same way about the comments too.
Mr Zaqy said stupid Seng has already given his explanation that he was speaking through his arse and apologised.
Mr Zaqy said after reading the transcript, he thinks silly Seng meant to parrot his aide's comments and that the first postings online omitted that fact.
"However, I think Seng should visit Las Vegas KTV and learn how to speak soberly after several rounds of Chivas. As political lackeys, we should be more sensitive, especially in public forums to avoid becoming cannon fodder for regime's enemies," said Mr Zaqy.
"We too, as high profile and wealthy lackeys, we need to improve our double speak skills and always pretend we treasure racial diversity and our sky high stipends because we help maintain the peace," he said, adding that Gerald Ee's political stipends hike proposals is one his favourite item on his X'mas presents list.
As usual, lackey Seng who has pendant for burning himself over silly remarks, had reluctantly apologised on his Facebook page, saying: "I only made a grammar mistake in my language, but peasants 'cry father and cry mother' and say i say that people speak bad English because they are not anglo saxons or SPGs. Now opportunists like Zagy and No Prawns but got fish Halimah are taking pot shots at me. KNNCCB"
He explained that the remark taken out of context of a larger discussion about how to improve the current problems with Merchant Saw's mass rapid transport system. He wants peasants to move on and concentrate their firepower on Saw because it is easier to target foreigners.
