LKY was apppointed BOD for Citigroup Singapore, not for the Citigroup NA.

Also, pundit was appointed and he took over a sinking ship. Not very fair to critisize him for his management. Although i must say, he hasn't shown what he is worth yet after so many months.

i think the ah neh is telling people that he is the fall guy to mask his incompetence. i work with ah nehs in india before. champion at salesman, ask them deliver, champion at tolak here tolak there. they are conmen. but their IT skills top notch though.

I also make it a point not to invest in companies where the chairman of the board and the CEO of the company is the same person. the board will not act fairly...but that is OT... sorry

NEW YORK: Vikram S Pandit bought a 10-room Manhattan apartment that belonged to the late actor Tony Randall for $17.9 million, according to public
records.

The co-operative in the Beresford building at 81st Street is a full floor, overlooks Central Park to the east and has its own elevator, a listing by the Corcoran Group real estate brokerage said when the apartment was offered.

The New York Finance Department's website recorded the sale on September 25. "This extraordinary 10-room residence offers outstanding entertainment rooms of grand proportions with magnificent detail," the Corcoran listing said.

"The residence enjoys superb light and impressive park views through 20 windows spanning two exposures."

His new apartment has herringbone wood floors, a fireplace, coffered ceilings, a butler's pantry and wine storage.

LOL working for one such company now. It's true. This stinks. I'm on my way out.

Those GIC and Temasick buggers really make a wrong move for buying into Citi, UBS and Merill. They chose to chase the wind and sad to say the wind die down. These instuition are going to remain medicore in the future.

He could've decline the positions & let someone who's more capable "try" to save the bank.

BUT I'm sure he's pay package includes a golden parachute & maybe thats more important to those bankerrs.
