Looks like the saga may be coming to an end.

from espnfc.com:

The summer's longest saga may have finally found a conclusion.

Manchester United's pursuit of Paul Pogba has finally ended in success, with the Daily Record reporting that Juventus have agreed to a £110 million deal.

The sticking point over the past few weeks appears to have been over which club would pay the 30 percent sell-on clause owed to Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola.

Jose Mourinho's side -- according to the paper -- have finally relinquished and agreed to pay Raiola £25.1m on top of a £83.8m payment to the Bianconeri.

Eye-watering stuff.

Football has really gone crazy when you're paying £25m just to an agent for transfer fees.
I'm clearly in the wrong job!

Ibra, Vardy take opposite paths to top

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jamie Vardy stand on the summit of English football. How they got there, though, are two different stories. The United and Leicester strikers will meet in this weekend's Community Shield.

Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League preparations stepped up a gear as goals from Harry Kane, Erik Lamela, Dele Alli, Vincent Janssen and Shayon Harrison helped them to an emphatic 6-1 win over Inter Milan in Oslo.

Martinez has got some talent to work with.
Allardyce has got diddly squat. He cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

Martinez has Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Mertens, Batshuayi, Nainggolan, Witsel, etc.

Allardyce has Kane, Sturridge, Rashford, Alli, Dier, Barkley, etc, maybe not as talented as those above, but also not bad.
