A FILIPINO seaman was charged on Tuesday with molesting a 19-year-old girl at an Orchard Road underpass.

Maghanoy Abuton Victoriano II, 24, is accused of grabbing the breast of the young woman along the underpass from Lucky Plaza to Ochard Road MRT Station on April 24.

If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to two years, fine, caning or with any combination of such punishments.

A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for July 11.
