Man on graft, forgery charges

A FORMER enforcement officer was charged in court on Friday with corruptly demanding money or sex from a teenager in return for not telling her parents that she had been caught smoking and littering.

Eddie Quek Yu Meng, 26, then employed by AETOS Security Consultants and attached to National Environment Agency, is also accused of corruptly accepting $50 from an unknown man for not taking enforcement action against him for littering in September 2008.

He had allegedly demanded for a bribe from the girl, either in the form of sex or money, at the stairway of Block 365 Woodlands Avenue 1 on Feb 10 last year when he had left AETOS.

Quek, now a sales assistant, was also charged with five forgery offences.

He allegedly used a genuine a Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education belonging to somebody else in November 2007 to apply for a job.

He is also accused of forging documents purportedly issued by Certis Cisco Security and Singapore Customs at his home at Bain Street last Dec 12.

His police bail was extended until his next appearance in court on Nov 8.

If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $100,000 and/or a jail term of up to five years for each charge of corruption. The maximum penalty for forgery is four years' jail and a fine.

He is a talent competing with the special bullshit talent and skills of ah nehs who come here. He deserve a special medal.

You know corruption is inevitable when bureaucrats need to be remunerated millions in order to be honest.

In Singapore Kangaroo court, such peasant offence is considered more severe to render hefty fines and jail terms. However, as in TT Durai and Ming Yi case, they just pinch their backside and give fine warning with a token jail term at home. One law for the rich, another law for the poor. Typica Singapore society.

I have to agree with you on this one.

WHat's the problem here? Asking for bribes, forging education documents, forging qualications, molesting teenage girls, these all all tricks taught to him by FT from PRC and India mah.

Now I not free, in addition to watch the water, I have to watch the skies all so, furthermore I have to go and see my Indonsian Abang, and supervise them on keeping the air clean & helping to put out all the api's..

Under LKY's CLEAN SYSTEM these days corrupts are no longer afraid o CPIB nor mata, they are the mata themselves! matas & e.g. MOM enforcers & NEA matas are the ones themselves corruptly break all the laws.
