I think its forgone conclusion that bus & MRT fare will increase this year. There are different ways to skin a cat - all sorts of reasons can be cited - high operational costs being a fine example.
Fare cheats also go up.
UNIQUELY SINGAPORE.....where a company making tons of profit can still increase their price...that only goes to show that it is a monopoly industry those transporters are running..with such a business approach they won't last a day in the private sector with competition aplenty...
Only in Sinkingpore, where the law of Newton does not applies....whatever goes up stays up and does not comes down...
i seriously dun think they will adjust the price downwards.......they should already forecasted the massive profit$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and cannot change already
bus fares, taxi fares, mrt fares only move in one direction: Up.
wats new? prices of everything go up, including our blood pressure.... bt nothing ever comes down.
Inflation? Money is getting smaller....
