If you read the press reports in its perspective, its the new grading standards set by WHO that have changed the ratings for all the beaches.
U still have six other beaches to go to if u don't wanna pay to visit Sentosa.
Yeah Sentosa you think is safe? Look out the sea full of ships anchor out there, ship at night discharge all kind of rubbish, espcially oil pollutant into the sea, shit all dumped there wioth you and i know it>.
