Recently, there are music lounges meant for women sprouting out in Singapore. Anti-vice is watching. The singers are guys mainly from China, Thai and some other places too. They have got visa to work here as singers. But in reality, just like KTVs, these places is just a front for Sinkie women to "book" them out...
These places are usually "hot" during daytime. Cause many Tai Tais sneak to these places in the day and go home before the evening - for obvious reasons. These places will not allow men to enter, for fear that husbands may find out and enter in the premise to make a scene...

It is a very popular concept in Japan and Taiwan. And it's starting in Singapore.

I'm just curious... How many ladies out there will patronize such clubs?

I've been to 1 recently, and find it pretty entertaining and amusing actually. Considering the roles are reverse now.

they are pretty similar to the boys club in bkk if anyone has been. ive been to one of the above and IT IS very entertaining if you talk about random boys on stage doing funny songs and dance and sit down with you and accompany you to drink. singapore's ones are alot "sane-r" and "subtle" compare to the bkk boys. the boys do not strip la..good clean fun for the girls i guess. its time we have something as opposed to the boys when comes to such clubs.

In fact i just went Club GioGio on Friday, and i'm surprised some of the eligible bachelors of CLEO magazine are moonlighting there. *Not Vivian Dawson of course... But i saw him in Le Noir Last sat and yesterday ar Cineleisure haha*

In my opinion, Ladies Clubs are not as sleazy as nightclubs guys patronize as i feel the objectives are different.

Like myself, i know i'm not going to sleep with any of them. It's just for the plain fun and enjoyment. I don't mind the occasional hugs and pecks, but definitely not sleeping! *Who knows you might need to pay for hotel room even?* LOL

Well, basically there are Thai, local, Malaysia, a Korean and a few China guys there for you to take your pick. There's men's catwalk, song and dance performance on stage. If you are shy, there's ktv rooms available.

Do you have to tip the guys? Not necessarily.. but you can buy flower garlands for them. It comes in ranges of $30, $50 and $100 which i think is pretty reasonable. Heard from the mamasan that they tabulate the no. of garlands the boys received each month. Those who doesn't receive much might be ask to go... O_o

If you wanna sit in the room, You have to at least open a bottle. THat's about $300 per bottle. Or if you are not shy, you can sit in the lounge area, then it doesn't matter what you drink.

Got to be prepared to spend minimum $150 per pax lo.

I'm going again on Fri haha!

we didn't buy garlands and were thinking of tipping the guys at the end, end up when i declined buying a garland, the lady who plonked herself beside me had such a change of face(it was really scary) that it made me and my friend "tio chua" for a moment. and within seconds, she changed back to normal and laughed

i didn't think giorgio guys were that cute honestly, except for the hotshot korean ***. the thais were the nice and down to earth but very poor thing cos their language ability put them at a disadvantage and the china boys were.... uhm, so XL that we can't be bothered to give them 2nd look, then again, they don't need it cos the tai tais who patronise the place for them will prob, you know, be all they need.

the lady workers there were the turn off, that made us really bored after a while. there was nice lady but she always kenah scolded by the more aggressive ones.

and if you go there, you can control your spending(we didn't wanna order too much of the watered down beer cos it was weekday and gotta work next day), and you can really feel the difference in treatment .

the guys who sat with us are really, really nice though(not the ones popular with the rich chinese tai tais), and they had to sit around for free even though we didn't buy garlands nor tip them(friend wanna tip them but they were at another table when they left)

Like meowcsj, I thought it was a gay pub or a dirty club for men everytime i drive pass coz I always eat wanton noodles near there! hahaha

ok i know where to bring my Indonesian tai tai friends now. hahaha

Finally the world seems more fair to ladies! next time your man say do business in night club, you can also tell him you doing business deal in night clubs. hahaha Girl power!!

I like this korean guy. (hes in my facebook)... hes super cute.. i always make him sing korean songs for me.. guess what? the last time i went there i saw David Gan! he was with some of his friends in a room! theres a mixture of guys modelling on the stage.. like malaysian, thais, china, best.. singaporeans.. one of them acting on channel 8 too!! lol

yeah i heard from my friend whos working there as manager says highest flower garland goes up to $1k.. n guy takes 60% company takes 40%... imagine how much Violet earns.. n i agree woman money really easy to make.. thinking of opening one of this kind when i have the capital!
