Worse, this happened during the F1 race, says the STOMPer who sent this picture in.
Anthony emailed STOMP on Oct 9 this picture taken on Sep 26, and said:
"F1 was supposed to be a big thing in town mainly to introduce Singapore to the world. Even PM Mr. Lee cited saying he wasnt watching at the race but the skyline of Singapore.
"Maybe the organiser forgot the small minor details like cleaning up the Singapore River.
"It really looks like a dumping ground with all the plastic bottles strewn inside the river."
