SINGAPORE: Keppel Corporation's CEO Mr Choo Chiau Beng earned between S$11.5 million and S$11.75 million last year, according to the company's latest annual report.
This is higher than the S$9.5 million to S$9.75 million he earned in 2008.
Bonuses accounted for 80 percent of his pay package in 2009.
Nine percent of Mr Choo's remuneration came from his base or fixed salary, with the remaining 11 percent in options granted.
Meanwhile, Keppel Land's non-executive chairman Dr Lee Boon Yang, who assumed the position on 1 July 2009, was paid up to S$250,000 last year.
Director's fee accounted for over half of his pay (55%), with allowances (5%) and remuneration shares (40%) making up the remaining 45 percent.
Former chairman Mr Lim Chee Onn who stepped down on 30 June last year was paid up to S$500,000 in 2009.
89 percent of Mr Lim's pay package was derived from his director's fee, while the rest was paid out in remuneration shares.
