WTF, only top student gets to network in NTU, other students are asked to fuck off. Wonder whether are these top students paying more tuition fee than others? So why such discrimination against the rest of the undergrads population? Furthermore most if not all of these top student have scholarships, so they dont even need to pay for their uni education, while the rest got to pay and yet kena discriminated. NTU YOU ARE SO FUCK UP! :oIo:

Why give top students priority in networking event?
NTU scheme to link employers & undergrads draws flak

Some Nanyang Technological University (NTU) students are riled up by how their school organised a recent networking event for graduating students and potential bosses.

At NTU's Super Networking Day on 29 Sep, students were split into two sessions based on their grades. Students who attended the earlier part of the event got to attend various company presentations, a networking session and a tea reception. Those who attended later missed out on the presentation.

When contacted, NTU said its Super Networking Day was originally meant only for top students. The university decided to add a new session this year to give more students the opportunity to networking with and learn about prospective employers.

Singapore society like Japan, US and everywhere else, has always placed an emphasis on elitism. To sift the best ones out under a rigorous series of tests to run the country and the big things.

Why do you think not everyone can qualify for junior college and not every junior college graduate is good enough to attend the local universities?

It would take 7 billion followers on this earth to make the 200 head of states look like leaders.

It would take 95% of students' population to make the top 5% look good.

It would take a mountain of corpse and skeletons to make a emperor's throne.

And thousands may die so that Caesar may become great. 一将功成万骨枯。

The question is: what would you be?

If everyone was treated equally, what's the point of having examinations in the first place you twit.

You're obviously living in some sort of make believe utopia.
