Increasing population maybe a good things for a country... but for Singapore today context... something is amiss and may lead to undesirable result in the long-run!
Singapore population is 5millions.. Hooray! But Citizens only make up about 3.2millions; I don't know... about 10years ago Singapore population is also about 3++ millions... It mean that overall born-n-breed Singaporeans did not increase too much! Will there be the a day, that born-n-breed Singaporeans become a minority in our OWN backyard
Really this population trends cannot continue this way... if the government only think of the number game, Singapore going finish! We are not a country in future, just a transhipment hub.
Tony Tan Why the government need to spend $10millions for our National Integration fund, just to integrate new citizenship and PR? The money can be better use to help poorer Singaporeans... those living in 1-room HDB flat!
