FOR girls who are attached or married, is it possible to love more than two men at the same time?

Yes, I definitely think so - preferably if one of them is your dad.

That would be much less of a headache, I assure you.

Of course, whether daddy approves your choice of a partner or not is another story altogether.

But today is the day for all fathers to be celebrated, in addition to the other 364 days of the year.

Most would head out to restaurants or hit the weekend buffets in honour of good ol' dad.

But for those who are not keen to join the lunchtime or dinner crowd, why not make a meal for your dad instead?

The following dish is so easy that even the cooking-challenged need not despair.

Play Pollyana for a day, throw on an apron and bring a smile to your father's face with a sincere attempt to make this day a special one for him.

And if the dish does not turn out right, there is always PlanB. Simply pass the dish to your partner while you head for a restaurant with your dad to spend some quality time together.

YAKITORI STICKS

INGREDIENTS

250g chicken breast fillet, cut into cubes

Half of one red bell pepper

Half of one yellow bell pepper

Half an onion

Bamboo skewer sticks

Oil for brushing

MARINADE FOR CHICKEN

2 tbsp yakitori chicken sauce

1/2 tsp mustard powder

Sprinkling of black pepper

2 tsp rice wine or any cooking liquor(optional)

METHOD

1. Marinade the chicken for at least 15 minutes.

2. Cut the onion and bell peppers into squares about 3cm each side.

3. Skewer the pieces of chicken, alternating with pieces of onion and bell pepper.

4. Heat grill pan, or skillet if you have no grill pan, and lightly grease with oil.

5. Brush the skewered yakitori sticks with oil. Place them in pan. Leave for two minutes. Turn the sticks over and leave for another two minutes. Do the same for the other two sides of the skewered meat until the chicken is fully cooked through on all sides. Done.
